Yellow & White Kitchen Redo

Kitchen & Living Transformation

The original kitchen was enclosed and disconnected from the main living and dining space. I removed the wall between the kitchen and dining room, opening up the apartment and creating a much stronger connection between the two areas.

The kitchen was then reoriented around the view, with the sink relocated to the new island so that everyday tasks could be carried out while enjoying the outlook. The generous island became both a practical workspace and a social hub, bringing the kitchen naturally into the living and dining areas.

Using the same timber flooring throughout the newly connected spaces visually ties the rooms together and reinforces the sense of one generous, open living area.

The result is a kitchen that feels integrated rather than separate — light, functional and designed around the way the client lives and the view beyond.
