This country kitchen was transformed into a light, elegant and highly functional space designed to make the most of its beautiful rural outlook.

As the interior designer and kitchen designer, I created a calm palette of soft blue-grey cabinetry, warm oak and brass detailing, with generous storage and a central island providing both practical workspace and a place to gather.

The marble-look splashback creates a strong visual connection across the kitchen, while carefully planned cabinetry keeps everything organised and within easy reach.

A considered kitchen design can completely transform how a home works and feels — particularly in a country setting where the view is part of the experience.
