Debra has been an absolute godsend over the years, and I genuinely don’t know how I would have navigated multiple renovation projects without her! She has supported me through major kitchen and bathroom renovations, helped design cohesive indoor and outdoor paint colour schemes, and most recently guided me through selecting all new blinds and window coverings after a house fire. In what could have been an overwhelming process, she brought clarity, calm, and expertise. What sets Debra apart is her ability to simplify and really 'get' the vibe or style of the individual client she's working with. While there are like 100s of shades of whites/neutrals, I just tell Debra the look I'm wanting, and she considers the light and aspect and other things to do with the room, and then she narrows it down to the two whites that are exactly right, and then I just choose from those two! So much simpler than trying 15 whites out! The same goes for fabrics: when I was searching for a soft, white-ish linen with a relaxed, wabi sabi feel, she narrowed hundreds of options at the Design Library and distilled them down to a small, thoughtful selection that perfectly captured the look I was going for.
